Jerk \Jerk\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Jerked (j[~e]rkt); p. pr. & vb. n. Jerking.] [Akin to yerk, and perh. also to yard a measure.] [1913 Webster] 1. To beat; to strike. [Obs.] --Florio.
