   A genus of ranunculaceous herbs including the pasque flower.
   This genus is now merged in {Anemone}. Some species, as
   Anemone Pulsatilla, Anemone pratensis, and {Anemone
   patens}, are used medicinally.

   1. (Bot.) A genus of plants of the Ranunculus or Crowfoot
