Flicker \Flick"er\ (fl[i^]k"[~e]r), v. i. [imp. & p. p. Flickered (fl[i^]k"[~e]rd); p. pr. & vb. n. Flickering.] [OE. flikeren, flekeren, to flutter, AS. flicerian, flicorian, cf.
