Kyanize \Ky"an*ize\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Kyanized; p. pr. &
   vb. n. Kyanizing.] [From Mr. Kyan, the inventor of the
   process.]
   To render (wood) proof against decay by saturating with a
   solution of corrosive sublimate in open tanks, or under
   pressure.
