Negotiable \Ne*go"ti*a*ble\ (? or ?), a. [Cf. F. n['e]gotiable.
   See Negotiate.]
   Capable of being negotiated; transferable by assignment or
   indorsement to another person; as, a negotiable note or bill
   of exchange.
