Quinovin \Qui*no"vin\, n. [NL. quina nova the tree Cosmibuena
   magnifolia, whose bark yields quinovin.] (Chem.)
   An amorphous bitter glucoside derived from cinchona and other
   barks. Called also quinova bitter, and quinova. [Written
   also chinovin, and kinovin.]
