Oxalantin \Ox`a*lan"tin\, n. [From Alloxantin, by
   transposition of letters.] (Chem.)
   A white crystalline nitrogenous substance (C6H4N4O5)
   obtained by the reduction of parabanic acid; -- called also
   leucoturic acid.
