Quesal \Que*sal"\, n. (Zool.)
   The long-tailed, or resplendent, trogon ({Pharomachus
   mocinno}, formerly Trogon resplendens), native of Southern
   Mexico and Central America. Called also quetzal, and
   golden trogon.
